Integrations Dashboard Overview

The integrations dashboard is a centralized hub for managing data flow between your housing system and other campus systems, such as the Student Information System, door access systems, and dining plan systems. This tool empowers administrators to monitor, configure, and troubleshoot data connections, ensuring that resident details, occupancy information, financial records, and other critical data remain up-to-date and in sync across platforms.
Accessing the Integrations Dashboard
Access to the the integrations dashboard is limited by user permissions established by your Housing.Cloud account super administrator. Please speak to your super administrator to gain access to these options.
Select Setup from the navigation panel and select Integrations from the sub-menu to access the dashboard.
The integrations dashboard is divided into three sections for effective data integration management.
Sections of the Integrations Dashboard
Logs
The Logs section provides a detailed record of all data integration events. It tracks the origin of each upload (whether manual or automated), logs start and end times, assigns unique IDs for easy reference, and displays the current status of each data event. Use the Logs section to monitor integration progress and quickly identify any issues needing attention.
Configuration
The Configuration section allows you to view and adjust settings for each data connection. Each entry outlines details such as the data source, transfer method, schedule (or “cadence”) for transfers, and whether data is incoming (ingress) or outgoing (egress). This section gives you control over how your housing system interacts with external data sources, making it simple to customize and adjust settings as needed.
Manual Import
The Manual Uploads section lets administrators directly import data files into the system. This option is useful for one-time data updates or corrections that need to be applied quickly. The Manual Uploads feature simplifies the data update process, especially for administrators managing periodic or unique data imports.
